had a very mini meltdown this morning when i realized that i would quite possibly never be halfway done with my to-do list, no matter how many “less important” things i eliminate, and that realistically, things that need completion will accumulate faster than i can complete them.  then certain acts of kindness today provided me with the much needed reminder that the best way to get through tough times isn’t to give up, but rather to simply keep going - as difficult as that can be. we don’t necessarily need to succeed at everything we do, but by giving it our best shot, we can definitely accomplish a lot.
